We have a big clan -Tempra and De Guzman. We are a happy family group who are all talented in the  Arts. Most of us can carry a tune with some of us who are really gifted.There are those who write,  sing, dance, paint, photo enthusiasts,can play the piano, drums, guitar, harmonica, some can tell  fortunes and a few who are evangelists. We take pride in our roots. We came from a parentage who  were once moneyed and landed but because of gambling and alcohol lost almost everything that their  own flesh and blood relatives surnamed MAGNO disinherited them of that name. Our grandfather  Epifanio Tempra chose the spanish surname Tempra and restarted their life again. Their youngest  son Pablo Tempra Sr. brought the name into the limelight of business because as a child he was  deprived of the many opportunities due to hardship, he rose from the ranks thru his grit and  business accumen.Pablo married Trinidad Urbano and had 6 children named Estrella, Mila, Pablo  Jr., Leonor, Leonardo,Danilo. When he became a widower, he remarried to Lolita and had 2 more  children named Nory and Johnny. Pablo Sr. fouded the following businesses at Legarda Sampaloc  Manila-Azucena Vaciador, Azucena Barbar Shop, Azucena Beauty Salon and Azucena Grocery. He also  bought lands in Pozorrubio, Mangaldan, Makati and Paranaque in the Philippines.He is often thought  to be a chinese national because the Legarda place is an enclave of the Chinese. He takes pride in  being the only Filipino that made it big with the Chinese. Whatever his children are happily  enjoying right now are the fruits of his labor which he said is his motivation to make it big." I  do not want any of my children to suffer the way I did so I prepared these life for all of them  and hopefully, they will all savor it, love it and make it grow". In GOD we all must trust for   GOD is the only anchor in this life.He did not stop there. He helped a lot of relatives to have  education, work and supplied their needs. Our relatives can attest to that. In his businesses, he  employed in -laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and even his siblings. His businesses thrived  because of these practice of getting people he trusted to work with him. They were all  compensated. He used to hold family activities to make the family more cohesive and understanding  one another. He gives gifts and bonuses not just to his family and relatives but to all workers,  to the church and to people who are in need who comes to him for help. That is how Pablo Cendana  Tempra Sr.in life and in death, he will surely be missed by those he touched in life.
